WILL REVOLUT REVOLUTIONIZE POLISH MARKET?
The announcement of a fintech Revolut's entry into the Polish market for mobile services has not gone unnoticed. On Thursday, Revolut began enrolling prospective users of mobile services in Poland. Prices for service packages including unlimited calls and messages, 50 or 200 GB of Internet and a high data limit for use within the European Union are to start at PLN25 a month. The company also said that users will use the services via a virtual card - the so-called eSIM. Revolut sees potential in Poland because it already has about 5 million users here, and because it is watching the results of mobile number portability. Unlimited basic services and eSIM are already a market standard in the virtual operator segment. What makes the difference is the size of the Internet data package to be used and the coverage and quality of the network used by the virtual operator. Price and a method of payment are also very important factors. (ICE VARSAVIA)
