EuRoPol Gaz, which after the expropriation of Russian Gazprom from autumn 2023 belongs to the state-owned Orlen group, has a new strategy. It shows that the company plans to expand its operations to include power generation. The new strategy has already been formulated under the wings of the new owner, and at several points envisages “supporting the energy transformation of Orlen group”. The plan calls for PLN2.2 bn in investments in the construction of gas units and biogas plants. In addition, the strategy calls for the development of new rules for cooperation with Gaz-System.
