POLISH COMPANIES MAY NOT BE ABLE TO CAPITALIZE ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE AIRPOR
The government hopes that investments related to building a giant airport in Baranów will fuel the growth of Polish companies. However, in the case of the proceedings for the airport terminal, the largest of them complain that provisions put them out of the game. The investment is worth several billion zlotys and Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that Polish companies would be preferred when selecting the general contractor. However, according to representatives of flagship Polish construction companies, the very provision that 5 rather than, for example, 15 companies will be admitted to negotiations causes that Polish companies are in disadvantage when evaluating tasks completed to date.
