The European Commission has launched a new STER initiative aimed at making the EU less dependent on external markets, protecting value chains in key sectors and strengthening the international position of Europe. As part of this program, the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) has announced the first call for R&D projects in the field of biotechnology. The budget of the program amounts to PLN300m and comes from the EU Funds for Modern Economy. (ICE VARSAVIA)
