This means the country exceeded its quota by 330,000 bpd, S&P Global data showed.In May, Kazakhstan's oil output stood at 1.76 million bpd against a quota of 1.486 million bpd.On July 7, eight OPEC+ countries, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, the UAE, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman, agreed to increase production quotas by 548,000 bpd in August. These nations had previously cut output by 2.2 million bpd in 2023.
