Kazakhstan exceeds OPEC+ quota by 330,000 bpd in June - S&PKazakhstan's oil production in June 2025 reached 1.83 million barrels per day, according to a review by S&P Global.Under the OPEC+ agreement, Kazakhstan's oil production quota for June was set at 1.5 million bpd. This means the country exceeded its quota by 330,000 bpd, S&P Global data showed.In May, Kazakhstan's oil output stood at 1.76 million bpd against a quota of 1.486 million bpd.On July 7, eight OPEC+ countries, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, the UAE, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman, agreed to increase production quotas by 548,000 bpd in August. These nations had previously cut output by 2.2 million bpd in 2023. The decision was driven by "strong global economic prospects and current healthy market fundamentals, reflected in low oil inventories.” (ICE ALMATY)
