Kazakhstan boosted grain exports 35.2% in past 11 monthsKazakhstan has exported 11.8 million tonnes of grain and flour in grain equivalent from the 2024 harvest from September 2024 to July 2025, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin announced Tuesday."This year, growth in transport and trade services was largely driven by increased grain shipments. Exports from the 2024 harvest rose 35.2%, reaching 11.8 million tonnes of grain and flour in grain equivalent. Of this, 9 million tonnes was pure grain exports, which is the highest in 13 years," Zhumangarin said during a government meeting.Uzbekistan and Tajikistan remained key export destinations. Kazakhstan has also resumed exports to Iran and Azerbaijan, he added.Kazakhstan harvested a record 26 million tonnes of grain in 2024.
