VĨNH LONG SEEKS INVESTMENT FOR KEY ECONOMIC AND INDUSTRIAL ZONES
Vĩnh Long Province is actively seeking investment for its economic and industrial zones, prioritizing renewable energy, logistics, infrastructure, and urban development. The key focus is the Định An Economic Zone, which spans over 39,000 hectares and has already attracted 48 projects worth over US$4.6 billion, including two major FDI projects. In 2026, Định An plans to launch 17 new investment projects, including a wind power plant, a green hydrogen plant, a logistics port, and various urban, environmental, tourism, and education projects. Other zones like Đông Bình, Gilimex Vĩnh Long, and An Định are accelerating infrastructure to attract secondary investors. The province is also planning and preparing nine additional zones. To support investment, Vĩnh Long has streamlined procedures using a one-stop-shop model, improved the business climate, and pledged administrative reform. The province aims to develop Định An into a renewable energy export hub in the Mekong Delta. (ICE HO CHI MINH CITY)
