Industrial output grows 6.5% in first half of 2025Kazakhstan’s industrial production rose by 6.5% year-on-year in the first half of 2025, reaching 28.933 trillion tenge, according to the Bureau of National Statistics under the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms.The oil and mining sector saw an 8.4% increase, contributing 13.186 trillion tenge (45.6% of total output). Manufacturing grew by 5.5%, accounting for 13.699 trillion tenge (47.3%). Meanwhile, electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply edged up 0.5% to 1.813 trillion tenge (6.3%).However, water supply, waste management, and pollution control activities declined by 5.3%, totaling 234.9 billion tenge.
