Freight turnover in Kazakhstan rose 12.8% in first half of 2025Kazakhstan's freight turnover rose by 12.8% year-on-year in the first half of 2025, reaching 275.7 billion ton-kilometers, according to the Bureau of National Statistics under the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms.Pipeline transport saw the strongest growth at 17.1%, while road freight turnover increased by 40.8% and rail transport expanded by 8%.Passenger turnover also showed positive dynamics, rising by 12% to 43.1 billion passenger-kilometers during the reporting period.
