PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) together with its affiliate, PT Gagas Energi Indonesia (PGN Gagas), affirmed its commitment to providing clean, reliable, and efficient energy solutions, especially for the hotel, restaurant, and cafe (horeca) sector in Bandung. PGN Gagas will provide natural gas services in the form of compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied natural gas (LNG) through the Gaslink product by building an LNG hub with a capacity of 15,000 MMBTU. PGN President Director Arief S. Handoko stated that the use of compressed natural gas, such as CNG and LNG, offers efficiency and competitive costs compared to other fossil fuels with savings business achieved of 10–25%.
