INDONESIA'S JUNE OIL PRODUCTION BEATS STATE'S 2025 BUDGET FORECAST
Indonesia’s Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Minister, Bahlil Lahadalia, announced that national oil production in June 2025 reached 608,100 barrels per day (MBOPD), surpassing the state budget target of 605,000 bpd for the first time since 2008. The average oil production for the first half of 2025 was 602.4 MBOPD, or 99.5% of the target, indicating consistent performance close to the budgeted expectations. Natural gas production significantly exceeded targets, with June output reaching 1.146 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (MMBOEPD), or 114% of the state budget target of 1.005 MMBOEPD. The first-half average was even higher at 1.199 MMBOEPD, or 119% of the target. Combined oil and gas production averaged 111.9% of the 2025 state budget target of 1.610 MMBOEPD, with June alone recording a total of 1.754 MMBOEPD. The Moinister emphasized that this marks a major milestone in meeting and surpassing national energy production goals.Source: https://en.antaranews.com/news/372653/june-oil-production-beats-states-2025-budget-forecast?utm_source=antaranews&utm_medium=mobile&utm_campaign=latest_category (ICE GIACARTA)
