UAE PRESIDENT SHEIKH MOHAMED BIN ZAYED AL NAHYAN MET WITH ANGOLAN PRESIDENT

 As confirmed to the Khaleej Times by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE's Minister of Foreign Trade, the UAE has signed Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements (CEPAs) with 20 strategic countries, and six of these are already operational, including those with India and Turkey.On August 25, 2025, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Angolan President João Lourenço in Luanda to strengthen bilateral relations and promote shared development. The leaders discussed expanding cooperation in key sectors such as energy, technology, agriculture, food security, and logistics. They witnessed the signing of a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement and multiple memoranda of understanding aimed at boosting investment and youth opportunities. Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the UAE's commitment to supporting Angola's development and praised its leadership of the African Union, while President Lourenço hailed the visit as historic and a step forward in the longstanding UAE-Angola partnership.
