EUROPEAN COMMISSION SIGNS €500 MILLION FINANCIAL AID PROTOCOL WITH JORDAN
The European Commission announced in Brussels the signing of a protocol agreement between the European Union and the Kingdom of Jordan to launch a €500 million financial assistance program aimed at supporting economic stability and advancing structural reforms in Jordan. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stressed that Jordan is a strategic partner for the EU, highlighting that this major investment backs the national reform agenda and promotes progress in sustainable finance, green energy, and anti-corruption efforts. She added that the initiative will help strengthen Jordan’s stability and resilience amid regional challenges. (ICE AMMAN)
