Kyrgyz president says trade with Kazakhstan to reach $3 bln by 2030Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan plan to increase bilateral trade to $3 billion by 2030, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov said Friday."Today we have discussed a wide range of issues, including the construction of an industrial and logistics center on the border and improving border infrastructure, including the highway between Almaty and Bishkek. If all these projects are implemented, by 2030 we will be able to increase bilateral trade turnover to $3 billion," Japarov said following talks with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev."Kazakhstan is not only a neighbor for Kyrgyzstan, but also a strategic partner and ally. We will continue to develop our bilateral relations, for which all necessary conditions have been created," he said.The 7th meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan took place in Bishkek on Friday, resulting in the signing of 11 documents.
