Kazakhstan increased oil exports to Germany by almost 20%, to 190,000 tonnes in AugustThe volume of Kazakh oil transportation to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline system in August of this year amounted to 190,000 tonnes, which is 18.7% higher than the level of July 2025, Interfax-Kazakhstan was informed by the national company KazTransOil (KTO)."In August 2025, KazTransOil JSC delivered 190,000 tonnes of Kazakh oil into the main oil pipeline system of PJSC Transneft towards the Adamova Zastava oil delivery point for further supply to Germany," the company said in response to the agency's inquiry.According to calculations by Interfax-Kazakhstan, taking into account previously known data on supplies since the beginning of the year, 1.277 million tonnes were supplied for export in January-August 2025.At the same time, the company did not provide exact data on transportation plans for September 2025.Initially, the national company KazMunayGas (KMG) stated that in 2025 Kazakhstan plans to ship 1.5 million tonnes of oil to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline. At the end of 2024, the same volume - 1.5 million tonnes - was exported in this direction. Later, from KMG materials, it became known that in 2025 it is planned to increase the volume of oil supplies to Germany to 2 million tonnes.Earlier, then Minister of Energy Almasadam Satkaliyev reported that, upon request from Germany, oil supply volumes could be increased to 2 million tonnes.Kazakhstan has been supplying oil to Germany since 2023 via the main oil pipeline system of PJSC Transneft towards the Adamova Zastava oil delivery point.
