Support for the defence industry has become one of the pillars of the Łukasiewicz Research Network  strategy for two reasons. Firstly, it stems from the needs of the Polish defense sector, which is growing significantly. Secondly, the research network's institutes have experience in working on such projects and can bring significant value to the Polish arms industry.During the MSPO, Łukasiewicz Research Network signed a strategic partnership with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ).
