Kazakhstan's industrial output rises 7.6% in January-AugustKazakhstan's industrial production reached 39.397 trillion tenge in January-August 2025, a 7.6% increase compared to the same period in 2024, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms reported.Output in the extractive sector grew by 9.6% to 18.073 trillion tenge, accounting for 45.9% of the total volume. The manufacturing sector increased by 6.5% to 18.707 trillion tenge, making up 47.5% of the total. The supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning rose by 2% to 2.291 trillion tenge, which is 5.8% of the total volume.In contrast, a 6.1% decline was observed in water supply, waste management and pollution remediation activities, which fell to 326.2 billion tenge, comprising 0.8% of the total industrial output.
