BRI'S MICRO-LENDING FUELS PRODUCTION SECTOR, BOOSTS NATIONAL ECONOMY
PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) has strengthened its strategic role in financing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), with its People's Business Credit (KUR) program. From January to August 2025, BRI disbursed Rp 114.28 trillion to 2.5 million MSME debtors, which is about 65.31% of its total 2025 KUR allocation of Rp 175 trillion. According to Akhmad Purwakajaya, BRI's Director of Micro, the bank’s goal is to ensure that this financing has a tangible and sustainable economic impact.
