DASSAULT AVIATION TO INCREASE STAKE IN JV WITH RELIANCE INFRASTRUCTURE
French aerospace major Dassault Aviation will increase its stake in a joint venture with Reliance Infrastructure Ltd. from 49% to 51%, as per a stock exchange filing by Reliance Infrastructure. Reliance Aerostructure Ltd. (RAL), a unit of Reliance Infrastructure, will transfer 2% of its holding in Dassault Reliance Aerospace Ltd. (DRAL) to Dassault Aviation, the filing said.Currently, RAL holds 51% in DRAL while Dassault Aviation has 49% . After this deal, Dassault will hold 51% and DRAL will become its subsidiary. The deal is expected to close by November 1, as per the filing.The company said the consideration for the transfer of shares will be ₹175.96 crore based on independent valuation. Dassault Aviation makes military and business jets, and is the integrator of Rafale and Falcon aircraft, as well as the manufacturer of airframes and subsystems of these aircraft. (ICE NEW DELHI)
