Amogy and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore’s lead public sector research and development (R&D) agency, have signed a deal to explore the development of ammonia-based technologies in Singapore. Under the memorandum of understanding, the parties will look into opportunities to pilot ammonia-to-power systems on Jurong Island. They will also conduct joint R&D on advanced ammonia-cracking catalyst technologies and develop digital tools and workforce training for system integration and scale-up.
