Kazakhstan allocates over 480,000 tonnes of diesel for harvestKazakhstan has allocated over 860,000 tonnes of diesel to farmers for the 2025 agricultural season, Energy Minister Erlan Akkenzhenov said Tuesday."The total volume of diesel for agricultural producers in 2025 is 863,000 tonnes. This includes 401,000 tonnes for spring fieldwork, 422,000 tonnes for autumn work, and 40,000 tonnes for crop drying," Akkenzhenov said at a government meeting. He added that an additional 20,000 tonnes were later allocated specifically for the harvest season.The fuel is being supplied at an average price of 254 tenge per liter, including tax. Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov ordered the Energy Ministry and regional authorities to ensure all shipments are delivered on schedule. (ICE ALMATY)
