DEMAND FOR OFFICE SPACE HAS INCREASED

Demand for office space has increased. “August is the first month this year when the average REDD Index fell below 500 days”, says Krzysztof Foks, REDD expert. Compared to July, the time has shortened by 16 days. Smaller offices – up to 500 sqm, are rented out the fastest. Warsaw is the most expensive city. According to REDD, the average starting rent for offices is EUR16.06 per sqm. JLL data shows that the best locations in the centre of the capital cost over EUR30 per sqm. In Kraków, average rents are EUR14.35 per sqm of office space, in the Tri-City EUR13.98, in Wrocław EUR13.72, and in Poznań EUR13.10 per sqm. Lower rates are found in Katowice (EUR11.50 per sqm) and Łódź (EUR10.16). (ICE VARSAVIA)
