THE MINISTRY OF STATE-OWNED ENTERPRISES WILL BE ABOLISHED, Replaced with an Agency/Institute.
The Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) is revising the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Law, which includes abolishing the Ministry of BUMN and replacing it with a state agency (BUMN Organizing Agency). The position of Minister of BUMN will be eliminated and replaced by a Head of the Agency, who will serve as the central government's regulator for BUMN policies, coordination, and supervision. The revision aims to accommodate several Constitutional Court (MK) rulings, notably one limiting dual positions (such as Vice Minister serving as Commissioner) to a maximum of two years.Source: https://www.cnbcindonesia.com/market/20250926072359-17-670331/kementerian-bumn-akan-dihapus-diganti-jadi-lembaga (ICE GIACARTA)
