PKO BP PRESENTS GOOD ECONOMIC FORECAST FOR POLAND

PKO BP analysts have presented macroeconomic forecasts for global and Polish economies. According to them, the real GDP growth in Poland will amount to 3.5 percent both at the end of 2025 and a year later. Inflation in the coming quarters should fall to 2.5-3.1 percent (to an annual average of 2.7 percent in 2026), and core inflation even below 2.5 percent (to an annual average of 2.6 percent). Stock market valuations will continue to rise and government bond yields will fall. Macroeconomic forecasts indicate that consumers should be better off and foreign investors are unlikely to turn away from Poland, although it remains unclear whether capital will continue to flow in. The biggest mystery is the situation of banks. (ICE VARSAVIA)
