Indonesia is set to gain mutual recognition for the quality standards of its steel, glass, and cement products across ASEAN, following the successful negotiation and ratification of the Mutual Recognition Arrangement for Building and Construction Materials (MRA-BCM).Minister of Trade Budi Santoso confirmed that the MRA’s main goal is to grant mutual recognition to testing results and certifications issued by registered Conformity Assessment Bodies (LPK).
