PLANS are afoot to open aquamarine ecozones in the country, a government official said on Tuesday at the British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (BCCP)'s 9th Property Matters event at Dusit Thani Manila. “The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), [which] has always been into land-based economic zones, is venturing into water-based [hubs] with aquamarine partners,“ said the agency's Ecozone Development Department Manager Ludwig Daza.
