Indonesian Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita is highly optimistic that the manufacturing sector's contribution to the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will strengthen significantly through the end of 2025. For 2026, the Ministry of Industry has set ambitious targets as part of the vision (Astacita President Prabowo) to push national economic growth above 8%.
