Business activity index in Kazakhstan slightly decreased to 50.9 points in Sept - National BankKazakhstan's Business Activity Index in remained almost unchanged at 50.9 in September 2025 compared to 51.0 in August; the indicator has been in positive zone since March 2024, according Rustem Orazalin, Director of the Monetary Policy Department at the National Bank.Last month, business activities decreased in production sector to 53 points from 53.8 a month earlier, in services sector to 51 points from 51.2, in the trade sector to 50.8 points from 51.2.The Business Climate Index, which is an average of the current and future business conditions, decreased to 10.3 in September 2025, due to a deterioration in the assessment of both current and future business conditions. However, overall indicators are assessed positively, and accordingly, the business cycle "clock" indicator remains in the growth area.According to enterprises’ estimates, demand for their products/services increased, but the growth rate slowed down.
