Kazakhstan to maintain this year’s flour production and export at last year’s level – Grain UnionKazakhstan is projected to produce 3.4 million tonnes of flour in the current marketing year (September 2025 to August 2026) or the same level as the previous year, said Yevgeny Karabanov, head of the analytics department at the Grain Union."Wheat flour production in the 2024/25 marketing year reached 3.4 million tonnes, which is 4% more than in the 2023/24 season. The production forecast for the current marketing year is 3.4 million tonnes, with exports projected at 1.8 million tonnes," he said at the international conference AGRICOM in Astana.He noted that Kazakhstan exported 1.8 million tonnes of flour in the previous marketing year as well.The main buyers of Kazakh flour are Afghanistan, China, and Central Asian countries.
