STATE LABOUR INSPECTION (PIP) WILL BEGIN AUDITS FROM THE LARGEST COMPANIES ON TH

Next year, the State Labour Inspection (PIP) will conduct 200 targeted audits which will focus exclusively on verifying compliance with the ban on employing workers on civil law contracts in conditions that actually indicate an employment relationship. There are many indications that the first inspections will take place in the largest companies on the market. Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) will be involved in the selection process and will be able to suggest where the inspections should be carried out. Both institutions are already working on an IT solution that will enable the exchange of information and initial suggestions. For companies, the effects of the inspections may be a serious financial challenge. Employment under an employment contract means the need to pay contributions, allowances and other benefits, often several or several dozen per cent higher than in the case of junk contracts. Companies are preparing their budgets for the next year, but virtually none of them include the costs of transformations imposed by the inspector's decision. (ICE VARSAVIA)
