The Arabian Gulf Oil Company has announced the redirection of two oil wells in the Sarir field, increasing production by more than 4,000 barrels per day. This is part of the intensified work on the wells and bringing closed ones back into service using the latest technologies.The company's specialized technical teams, in cooperation with international companies, were able to complete the redirection of well "C307-HR." Initial tests following directional drilling showed production exceeding 2,600 barrels per day, representing a qualitative leap in performance, according to the company.In a post on its Facebook page, the company noted a similar achievement, where the same technology was applied to well "L-95" in the same field, increasing its production capacity to more than 1,400 barrels per day. The results from both wells were characterized by the absence of associated water in production, a double success, as it contributes to improving the quality of crude oil and reducing the negative effects of water on production processes and equipment.
