INDONESIA ENJOYS STEADY GROWTH IN NINE MONTHS
Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance reported steady economic performance as of September 2025, despite global uncertainties. The State Budget (APBN) recorded a deficit of IDR 371.5 trillion (approximately USD 22.5 billion), equivalent to 1.56% of GDP—well below the full-year projection of 2.78%. Notably, the primary balance remained in surplus at IDR 18 trillion, reflecting ongoing fiscal consolidation. State revenue reached IDR 1,863.3 trillion, or 65% of the annual target, though this marked a 7.2% year-on-year decline due to falling global commodity prices, particularly coal and palm oil. Indonesia's Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa emphasized that despite reduced revenues from the oil, gas, and mining sectors, manufacturing and services continued to support budget inflows. He also highlighted the government’s commitment to expenditure efficiency through accelerated priority programs, social support, and infrastructure investment. These measures have helped maintain fiscal discipline and reinforce efforts to strengthen Indonesia’s public finances.Source: https://en.vietnamplus.vn/indonesia-enjoys-steady-growth-in-nine-months-post330427.vnp (ICE GIACARTA)
