Kazakhstan’s construction output grew 14.9% in Jan-SeptConstruction output in Kazakhstan totaled 6.441 trillion tenge in value in January-September 2025 or an increase of 14.9% year over year, the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms said.This includes 3.426 trillion tenge spent on the construction of infrastructure, 1.988 trillion tenge on non-residential buildings and 1.027 trillion tenge on residential buildings.In the reporting period, construction and installation works increased by 13% to 5.249 trillion tenge in value compared to the same period of the previous year, major repairs rose by 19.7%, and scheduled maintenance went up by 29.6%.As many as 28,771 new buildings were put into operation in January-September 2025, including 26,483 residential buildings and 2,288 non-residential buildings.The first nine months of this year saw the commissioning of 164 schools, 39 preschools, two hospitals and 72 outpatient clinics.The population of Kazakhstan tops 20 million people.
