The Indonesian Ministry of Communications and Digital (Kemkomdigi), under the leadership of Minister Meutya Hafid, is launching the "Garuda Spark" program to align with President Prabowo Subianto's digital transformation vision. The goal is to create two million technology-based entrepreneurs from various regions, decentralizing the tech economy from major cities. Garuda Spark will establish innovation hubs for collaboration, incubation, training, and funding, focusing on solutions for local education, health, and economy. Two hubs are currently open in Bandung and Jakarta, with two more planned for Aceh and Medan by the end of 2025. The program also integrates with Hub.ID Connection Hub and the Startup Indonesia Dashboard to strengthen the national digital ecosystem.
