UKRAINIAN LOGISTICS ARE RECOVERING: THE NUMBER OF BUSINESSES IN THE SECTOR DOUBLED IN THE THIRD QUARTER.
Despite the war and the destruction of infrastructure, the Ukrainian transport and logistics industry continues to adapt and grow. As of early October 2025, there were 260,400 combined Ukrainian companies and individual entrepreneurs (FOP) operating in this sector. The number of logistics companies in Ukraine has continued to increase this year, though at a slightly slower pace than last year – by the end of September, there were over 69,500 such legal entities in Ukraine.Although the number of FOPs in the industry did not show significant growth in the first three quarters of 2025, reaching approximately 190,000, in the third quarter compared to the same period in 2024, there was a doubling of registrations (+8,262 FOPs). The logistics sector covers almost the entire territory of Ukraine, with the largest concentration of companies and entrepreneurs in Kyiv (35,000), the Dnipropetrovsk region (about 18,900), and the Odesa region (18,300). The top 15 companies in the industry earned a total of ₴233.6B in 2024.
