VIETJET SHAREHOLDERS SET TO RECEIVE 20% STOCK DIVIDEND

Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (HOSE: VJC) has announced a 20 per cent stock dividend, granting shareholders 20 new shares for every 100 held. The airline will issue about 118.3 million shares, valued at over VNĐ1.18 trillion (US$44.7 million), expected between late 2025 and early 2026 pending regulatory approval. Following the issuance, Vietjet’s charter capital will exceed VNĐ7 trillion, and consolidated equity will surpass VNĐ24 trillion, strengthening its financial foundation. The move comes amid strong foreign investor interest and solid business performance. Vietjet continues to expand its fleet with new A330 wide-body aircraft, bringing the total to 130, and has begun building an aircraft maintenance technical centre at Long Thành International Airport—one of Việt Nam’s key national projects. To celebrate the year-end season, Vietjet is offering promotional Eco tickets from zero đồng and up to 20 per cent discounts on premium tickets. The airline will also participate in the Vietnam Festival 2025 in Nagoya, Japan, showcasing its growing network connecting major Vietnamese and Japanese cities. The dividend and expansion plans highlight Vietjet’s sustainable growth strategy and its role in boosting Việt Nam’s aviation capacity and regional connectivity. — VNS (ICE HO CHI MINH CITY)
