Indonesia's plan to mandate 10% ethanol-blended fuel (Bioethanol E10) is attracting significant foreign investment interest, notably from Japanese automaker Toyota. Vice Minister of Investment Todotua Pasaribu stated Toyota is interested in building an ethanol plant to secure feedstock, aligning with its use of bioethanol and hydrogen in vehicle technology (some Toyota products can run on E100). Brazil is cited as a successful model for this strategy.
