This year, the Polish Investment & Trade Agency (PAIH) supported investments worth over EUR3.1bn. The value of projects that received PAIH support this year is three times higher than last year. Most foreign capital comes from the US, but there are also more investors from Asia. This year's result in terms of value was dominated by the United States - projects from this country were worth a total of EUR1.6bn. Polish companies invested EUR948m, and Austrian companies EUR163m. Overall, 42 projects implemented this year are expected to create over 4,000 jobs. The majority, as many as 28, are production investments with a declared value of approximately EUR2.82bn and employment of 1,900 people.
