Fashion, gaming, and beauty were the top-performing export categories for Singapore-based businesses selling internationally via PayPal, generating an estimated $827.4m (US$636m), $771.4m (US$593m), and $534.7m (US$411m), respectively, between April 2024 and March 2025. Combined, the three verticals accounted for more than $2.1b (US$1.6b) in annual cross-border transaction value, according to new data released by PayPal. In total, over 90,000 Singapore businesses—approximately one in four of the country’s 356,100 registered firms—transacted with overseas buyers using PayPal during the period. These businesses completed more than 60 million cross-border transactions, reaching more than 14 million global customers.
