Kazakhstan, US's CES to build $350 million energy storage plantKazakhstan will build a $350 million plant for the assembly and production of battery energy storage systems through a new partnership with U.S. company Clearbrook Energy Solutions.The agreement was signed by Kazakhstan's Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, Clearbrook, and Kazakh firm AG-Tech on the sidelines of the C5+1 business conference in Washington."The total investment is estimated at $350 million. Clearbrook will provide technology for the energy storage systems and virtual power plants, while AG-Tech will handle the localization and integration of digital solutions into the country's energy infrastructure," according to the ministry.
