The Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company in Zarqa received approximately 3,430.8 barrels of Iraqi crude oil between October 11 and November 10, 2025, under the previous memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the Jordanian and Iraqi governments, which was extended on September 17. In response to inquiries from Al-Mamlaka TV, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources explained that the shipments aim to complete quantities that were not loaded earlier due to logistical reasons. Loading operations resumed on October 5 and will continue until January 31, 2025, or until the agreed quantities are fully delivered. The Ministry affirmed that this step ensures the continued supply of part of Jordan’s crude oil requirements, in line with the agreements established between the two sides. (ICE AMMAN)
