GREECE: THE 6TH TRANSATLANTIC ENERGY COOPERATION SUMMIT TOOK PLACE IN ATHENS ON NOVEMBER 6 AND 7 AT THE ZAPPEION MEGARON

The inauguration was attended by U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, U.S. Secretary of State Doug Burgum, twenty-four European energy ministers, and senior executives from leading international energy companies.The Sixth Partnership for Transatlantic Energy Cooperation (P-TEC) Conference was co-organised by the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center, marking the strengthening of Europe–U.S. cooperation toward a secure, sustainable, and affordable energy transition. International companies were present at P-TEC included Chevron, ExxonMobil, Cheniere, Google, DTEK, Westinghouse, Venture Global LNG, Excelerate Energy, Baker Hughes, Woodside Energy, Global Vision, Concelex, Italgas, Amazon, E-INFRA, ConocoPhillips, LNG Allies, and EQT.The Sixth Ministerial began with a Business Forum on Thursday, November 6, providing an opportunity for high-level public- and private-sector leaders to discuss energy security. The P-TEC Ministerial meeting took place on Friday, November 7, and highlighted the role of liquefied natural gas in supporting European competitiveness and economic growth. (ICE ATENE)
