PERTAMISECURES U$2.6 BILLION UPSTREAM OIL & GAS DEALS DURING G20 SUMMIT

Indonesia's state-owned energy company Pertamina has secured $2.6 billion worth of upstream oil and gas investment agreements with its partners during the G20 Summit in Johannesburg, according to Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto. While details remain under negotiation, the announcement highlights Indonesia’s efforts to strengthen its energy sector through international collaboration. Beyond energy, Indonesia’s delegation drew interest from African nations such as Angola and Ethiopia, which are exploring cooperation in agriculture, high technology, and upstream energy development. Ethiopia already hosts six Indonesian companies, and further visits are planned to expand proposals. Indonesia is also pursuing new partnerships outside Africa, particularly in data centers and telecommunications, signaling a broader push for diversified global investment ties.Source: https://jakartaglobe.id/business/pertamina-secures-26-billion-upstream-oil-and-gas-deals-on-sidelines-of-g20-summit  (ICE GIACARTA)
