Dubai Ports Authority has launched a new AI and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) system to issue operational approvals and safe work permits, processing around 44,000 transactions annually. Eligible requests are approved instantly after automated verification, while exceptional cases are routed to human review. Covering areas such as dangerous goods acceptance, vessel bunkering, ship waste discharge, and safe work permits, the system aims to enhance safety, efficiency, and customer experience.
