Abu Dhabi's Technology Innovation Institute (TII) and Space42 have partnered to develop the UAE's first space-to-ground quantum communication network, combining satellite and ground-based systems with sovereign Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) technology. The collaboration, announced at the Dubai Airshow, will focus on R&D, payload development, satellite integration, and ground infrastructure operations to enable ultra-secure data exchange and strengthen cyber resilience. Leveraging TII's research expertise and Space42's satellite capabilities, the partnership aims to validate and deploy quantum-secure communication links, paving the way for commercialization of next-generation secure space systems and reinforcing the UAE's leadership in advanced digital infrastructure.   (ICE DUBAI)
