Kazakhstan grain exports climb 15% year-on-yearKazakhstan exported 3.1 million tonтуs of grain from the new harvest between September and the end of November 2025, a 14.8% increase compared to the same period last year, the Ministry of Agriculture reported on Monday.Shipments to key regional markets have shown significant growth. Exports to Uzbekistan rose by 32% to 1.4 million tonnes, deliveries to Kyrgyzstan doubled to 90,000 tonnes, and supplies to Afghanistan increased by 28.8% to 179,000 tonnes.For the current agricultural year, from September 2025 to August 2026, the ministry plans to export 13 million tonnes of new-harvest grain, a target roughly in line with the previous season's shipments.The increase in exports follows a 2% rise in the national grain harvest this year, which reached 27 million tonnes with an average yield of 1.7 tonnes per hectare.
