SEPANG, KUALA LUMPUR 27 October 2025 – During the 2025 Petronas Grand Prix of Malaysia, Ambassador Raffaele Langella hosted Italian Trade Agency (ITA) leaders Matteo Zoppas, the President of the Italian Trade Agency and Lorenzo Galanti, the Director General of the Italian Trade Agency at a two-day business-matching event at the Sepang International Circuit (25–26 October). Organized by ITA with Federazione Motociclistica Italiana (Federmoto), Associazione Nazionale Ciclo Motociclo Accessori (ANCMA), Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori (EICMA), and Dorna Sports, the event connected 10 leading Italian motorcycle companies (including Pirelli, Brembo, Piaggio, and Alpinestars) with 39 operators from APAC countries.The event featured the session “Racing Beyond Borders: Italy and the Motorcycle Passion”, with speeches highlighting sports diplomacy as a tool to promote Italy and foster commercial partnerships.
