KUALA LUMPUR, 27 November 2026 — Kuala Lumpur, once a hotspot for motorsport with its Kuala Lumpur Street Circuit and the 2015 City Grand Prix, is set to make a comeback in 2026. MotoGP rights holder Dorna Sports will launch the 2026 season in the city, using a temporary 1.5-kilometre urban circuit around the PETRONAS Twin Towers. The event on February 6–7 will feature a city-style showcase with a long straight, spectator areas, and a functional pit lane, though no competitive racing will occur due to safety constraints.
