INDONESIA'S ASSEMBLED CAR EXPORTS TO RISE 3.4% IN NOVEMBER 2025
Indonesia’s car export performance in November 2025 showed mixed results. Completely built-up (CBU) car exports rose to 46,920 units, up 3.4% from October and 26.4% year-on-year, continuing a strong cumulative trend of 473,971 units from January–November (10.6% growth). In contrast, completely knocked down (CKD) exports fell 9.6% month-on-month to 5,026 units, though they still surged 70.3% compared to November 2024. Vehicle component exports dropped sharply by 22.2% month-on-month to 9.56 million pieces, with a milder 11.4% annual decline. By brand, Toyota led CBU exports with 13,973 units, followed by Daihatsu, Mitsubishi, and Suzuki. Hyundai and Honda trailed behind, while Isuzu, Wuling, and Hino recorded under 1,000 units. Mitsubishi dominated CKD exports, while Toyota was the largest component exporter with over 8.3 million pieces. Overall, CBU and CKD exports strengthened in 2025, but component shipments faced a slowdown, reflecting a dynamic but uneven export landscape.Source: https://industri.kontan.co.id/news/ekspor-mobil-rakitan-indonesia-naik-34-pada-november-2025 (ICE GIACARTA)
