THE Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $500-million policy-based loan to support the sustainable development of the Philippines’ marine ecosystems. In a statement, the based multilateral lender said the Marine Ecosystems for Blue Economy Development Program (Subprogram 1) would strengthen the productivity, diversity and climate resilience of the country’s ocean-based economy.
